UPenn Early Application Acceptance Rate

The University of Pennsylvania has selected nearly half of its Class of 2026 through the early decision program. Of the 7,795 applicants, Penn accepted 15.63% or 1,218 students. This was a slight increase from last year’s record-low acceptance rate of 15%. ****

“We can’t wait for these inquisitive, motivated and caring students to join our campus community and to meet each other. Our admitted students demonstrated many of the values central to the Penn community — intellectual curiosity, collaboration, adaptability, and care for others,” said Dean of Admissions, Whitney Soule.
