Jamie Beaton
Crimson Education Co-founder and CEO
At 18 years old, applied to 25 of the world’s best universities and was admitted to all of them. He has earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Harvard, as well as Master’s degrees at Stanford, UPenn and Tsinghua, a PhD at Oxford, and JD at Yale Law School.

He has grown Crimson into the world’s most successful university admissions consultancy, having assisted thousands of students worldwide in gaining entry to the most competitive universities in the US and UK.

Fangzhou Jiang
Crimson Education Co-founder and Chief Product Officer
Fangzhou co-founded Crimson with Jamie over ten years ago having grown up in China and moved to New Zealand as a teenager.

He is a graduate of Stanford University (MS), Tsinghua University (MA), a National Premier Schwarzman Scholar and MIT Entrepreneurship Coach.

His extensive personal experience in successful elite college applications (Fangzhou was also admitted to Columbia and MIT) and his 10 years of experience at Crimson has seen him guide hundreds of students to top school admissions.
Arkesh Patel
Crimson Education Chief Operating Officer
Arkesh was born and raised in New Zealand and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge. During his time at Cambridge, he received early admission to Harvard Business School for his MBA, from which he graduated with distinction (top 10% of students).

Arkesh was an early employee at Included Health, then he joined Lyft in 2017 and in 2020 joined Thumbtack. Arkesh now leads operations at Crimson Education as COO.
