About Shihui

Shihui is based in Singapore and provides strategy for students applying to the UK, Singapore, and Canadian universities. In admissions, she has helped over 100 families from over 20 countries gain offers to Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, King’s, and other top and Russell Group universities. Each year, 100% of her students get accepted into one of their top 5 universities. Over 60% of her students win admission to at least 4 of their top 5 universities. In addition to consulting with students, she provides advisory and workshop support to other global Crimson offices. She is currently a Senior Strategy Consultant and UK Team Leader at Crimson. 

Before joining Crimson, Shihui obtained her Bachelors in Psychology at National University of Singapore (QS Ranking #11) and Masters of Arts (Counselling & Guidance) at Nanyang Technological University (QS Ranking #13). She also won 13 acceptances to universities in Singapore, US, and the UK and also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining Crimson, she worked in healthcare and technology consulting and brings her experience in these fields when working with students of both humanities and STEM persuasions. Her professional background is in counselling and psychology, where she provides support to her clients on issues such as socioemotional challenges, developmental concerns, and career identity.

Shihui believes that the journey with Crimson is more than just about obtaining university acceptances — it is about undergoing a personal journey of clarifying beliefs, values and preferences that will drive long-term decision-making that brings students closer to their best-fit options.
