US Strategy Consultant
Laila holds an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience & Psychology from UC Berkeley and a graduate degree in Global Health from UC San Francisco. She is also the Founder and Director of Sana Relief, a program at Stanford University School of Medicine focused on health research and implementation in the MENA region. With Crimson, Laila works as a strategist, providing personalised blueprints for success in US college admissions.
Former Harvard Admissions Officer
Devery has extensive experience in college admissions, having served as a Senior Admissions Officer at Harvard's Undergraduate Admissions Office and as an Application Reader for The University of California, Berkeley's, Undergraduate Admissions Office. Since then, she has advised hundreds of hopeful students in her capacity as an independent counsellor, and they have gone on to gain admission to the likes of Harvard, Stanford, Yale and UChicago.
Investor and Entrepreneur
Ed is an angel investor and growth advisor to various startups including Lime, Zwift and most recently Crimson Education. Prior to this, Ed was the VP of Product and Growth at Uber and Head of International Growth at Facebook. Ed has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an A.B. from Harvard University, where he concentrated in Chemistry & Physics.
Former Stanford Admissions Officer
Martin served in the admission office of his alma mater: Santa Clara University for 5 years. He then started at Stanford University where he was named Assistant Dean of Admission, charged with evaluating submissions from New England’s famous boarding schools and applications from international students. Since leaving Stanford Martin has shared his knowledge with students, teachers and counsellors at international schools and served as an instructor with the Counselor Training Center.
Former Stanford Admissions Officer
Isamar was a Post-Graduate Fellow for Harvard's Brazil Office, where she developed an international college mentorship program and volunteered as a Harvard admissions interviewer. Afterwards, she joined the Stanford University Office of Undergraduate Admission as an Admission Counselor on the International Outreach team, and then as an Assistant Director of Admission on the Diversity Outreach and External Relations team.
US Strategist, Crimson Education
Joy graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Comparative Literature and minors in Creative Writing and East Asian Studies. Her first novel, The Problem With Helena, was published in 2018, hitting #3 in New Releases and Top 100 in the Asian American Literature category in its first week. As an educator, Joy has worked with Johns Hopkins, Princeton in Asia, and a high-end admissions consulting firm in Beijing.
