Can I apply to Harvard/MIT, etc. in Year 11?

Can I apply earlier to these institutions, and, if so, what are the pros and cons?

thanks

You can apply early. The main pro is if you get in you will have saved several years. On the con side, you won’t receive any brownie points for applying early and will be compared directly to candidates who are year 13 with a complete candidacy. This would make it difficult to compete unless you have achieved well in advance of your years (note that most Harvard admits are exceptional students who went all the way up to Year 13).

Feel free to send me your stats and I’ll tell you if this could be feasible for you at j.beaton@crimsoneducation.org
