Junior Year is the Make-or-Break Moment for College Admissions

As a former Yale Admissions Officer, I can tell you: junior year is the most critical point in the college application journey. This is when I saw students’ profiles really start to take shape. Grades, test scores, leadership roles, and summer activities... everything comes together. That's why admissions officers like me focus on 11th grade the most.

If students miss the mark in junior year, it becomes much harder to stand out in an increasingly competitive pool. But with the right strategy now, your child can build a profile that gets the attention of top colleges.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The 3 biggest mistakes families make when planning for college
  • How to build a compelling extracurricular profile that stands out
  • The new landscape of standardized testing (and what it means for the Class of 2026)
  • Why this summer is critical, and what your child should be doing
  • How top colleges evaluate junior year grades, class rigor, and activities

You can also get your questions answered LIVE throughout the webinar!
