My main experience was the U19 world champs. Pre competition is pretty mundane as you’re just training and staying in the hotel. That’s expected though, you’re over there to race not sight see. Training at Karapiro is awesome, the facilities there are great and the support is second to none! It’s a pretty cool place to be with a nice stretch of water available and great weights room.
