Transferring into Wharton

Does transferring into Wharton after freshman year add time on to your degree? And likewise, does applying for a dual degree with CAS and Wharton after freshman year add time on?

For both, how much extra time if any would it be?

No it doesn’t. You do a first year in CAS and have to take certain economics and statistics course and then you apply with your GPA and transfer over. Many of our students have successfully done this. Fire me an email at j.beaton@crimsoneducation.org and I can connect you to some for more information. Dual degrees similarly don’t add any extra time. One notable example is the Huntsman program which combines college of arts and science and Wharton in just 4 years. I actually got into this program and really loved the concept of it although I did end up going to Harvard.
