Is ATAR as valuable as IB's when applying to Ivy League Schools as an international student?

I am from Australia and am hoping to gain acceptance to an Ivy League school in two years time. All the courses offered at my school will not get me a high school GPA but rather an ATAR. Another local school offers an IB course, but if possible I would prefer to stay at my current school so I can stay close with my friends.

I am very confident in my ability to achieve in both curriculums as I have previously been awarded multiple academic scholarships. So I am interested in how much better is having an IB grade compared to an ATAR for Ivy League applications. Do you think I should look at transferring to the other school only to study IB, or stay in my current school and only include an ATAR score in my applications?
