Dame Ranjna Patel
NZ Order of Merit & King’s Service Medal
Born and raised in NZ, Dame Ranjna Patel co-founded East Tamaki Healthcare, growing it into Tāmaki Health, the nation’s largest private primary healthcare network. She founded Gandhi Nivas, reducing family harm reoffending by 60%, created Mana 4 Mums for young Māori and Pacific mothers, and co-founded the Swaminarayan Complex. Honours include QSM, ONZM, Innovator of the Year, NZ Business Hall of Fame, and Dame Companion for services to communities, health, and family violence prevention.


Prof. Sarah Young
Deputy Vice-Chancellor
Dean of Science and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Auckland. Professor Sarah Young is an internationally recognised immunologist. She has held senior leadership roles at the Universities of Canterbury, Sydney, and Otago. Her research focuses on immune therapies for cancer and autoimmune disease, and she serves as Chair of the Board for ESR. Professor Young brings deep expertise in science, education, and leadership to her role.


Simran Kaur
Founder at Girls That Invest
New Zealand-born entrepreneur and optometry graduate, Simran, founded Girls That Invest (now Friends That Invest), a top-rated financial education media platform empowering women and minorities to invest with confidence. Her podcast and book have gone global, earning her Forbes 30 Under 30, 2024 Young New Zealander of the Year, and Cartier Women’s Initiative Fellow (2024) honours.


Samiya Patel
University of Auckland Med Student
Samiya Patel is a 4th-year student studying a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). She is a graduate of Saint Kentigern College and throughout her studies has been involved in service, charity work, the arts and been a University tutor for Māori and Pacific students. Molly Hillman
NZ Country Manager Crimson Education
A University of Sydney graduate and Crimson alum, Molly became New Zealand Country Manager for Crimson Education in 2024. Prof. David Buisson
Former MIT Admissions Officer
Prof. Buisson, PhD in Chemistry, is a former MIT Admissions Officer and senior leader at the University of Otago, where he served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dean. With a career bridging science, business, and higher education, he brings both academic expertise and insider admissions insight. Now Crimson Education’s Chief Senior Graduate Strategist, he has guided 200+ students into top universities worldwide with his creative, cross-disciplinary approach.
