UCLA Acceptance Rate Dips to 8.8%

The results are in, and the competition is more fierce than ever! Of the 56,439 students who applied to the UVA Class of 2027, the university extended admission offers to 9,220 students. The 16.3% of students who received the good news are muralists and mountaineers, locksmiths and lifeguards, baristas and blacksmiths.
The UVA Class of 2027 final admission results were announced in an article by UVA Today on March 17. The post reported that UVA had another record-breaking year in terms of applicants, with 56,439 students applying to the UVA class of 2027, a rise from 50,962 applications in 2022 and 48,011 in 2021.

For the regular decision cycle, more than 16000 students applied to UVA of which 2,182 students got accepted at an acceptance rate of about 13.4%.
The number of applicants to UVA's regular decision cycle for class of 2027 was lower than the early action cycle, but despite that, the acceptance rate of the regular decision cycle was still lower. UVA experienced a record number of applications for the Class of 2027 and Class of 2026. Application numbers were well above the pre-pandemic numbers, and the class of 2027 saw 10% more applications than the class of 2026.
