What is the VCE?
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the highest secondary school qualification in Victoria, Australia, and generally takes two years to complete. Each subject has four semester-long units. Most students study 20 to 24 units across Years 11 and 12, completing Units 1 and 2 in the first year and Units 3 and 4 in the second. Final VCE marks combine school-based assessment with external examinations.
What is a GPA?
US schools grade coursework using letters, such as A, B, or C. GPA measures those grades on a scale from 0 to 4.0. It is calculated by dividing the total grade points earned across all subjects by the total credit hours attempted.
