What is the Crimson Access Opportunity Scholarship
The CAO program has proudly supported a diverse community of over 450 students from 65 countries.
In 2020, Crimson Education created the Crimson Access Opportunity (CAO) program in order to provide ambitious, economically disadvantaged students with free access to Crimson’s renowned US admissions support. Building on the success of CAO, we are now launching the EU Access Opportunity, a program designed to support high-potential students applying to leading universities across Europe. Our mission is to ensure that talented students have equal access to opportunities at top universities, regardless of their financial background.

What Kind of Support do CAO Students Receive?
Through this initiative, selected students receive free access to Crimson’s expert admissions support, helping them navigate the European university application process and present the strongest possible applications.
Successful CAO applicants would receive:
– Support to 3 EU Universities
– 8 Hours With a Strategist
– 8 Hours of Application Essay Support
– 3 Hours For Interviews or Other Support

Who Should Apply?
We are looking for rising seniors and gap year students looking to begin at an EU university in the fall of 2027 with high financial need and strong academic and extracurricular performance.
The program supports both American and international students.
EU Access Opportunity Application Requirements:
- The student must be in their final year of high school (or equivalent) and planning to start university in Fall 2027
- They must be applying to undergraduate programs in Europe
- They must demonstrate high financial need (ability to contribute less than $30,000 USD/year)
- They should have strong academic performance and an overall profile
- They will need to be proficient in English (if required)
