Devery studied higher education management at Harvard's Graduate School of Education in addition to serving as a Harvard admissions officer, UC Berkeley application reader, and an application reader for a top liberal arts college. Devery’s background also includes serving as associate director of college counseling at a top 5 independent school in the U.S., where she guided hundreds of students through competitive college admissions.
