Former Olympian & University of Washington Rower

Kirstyn began rowing in 2005 and quickly rose to prominence, earning a silver medal at the 2009 World Rowing Junior Championships. Kirstyn attended the University of Washington on a full scholarship, where she was a key member of the rowing team and earned a degree in Oceanography. After returning to New Zealand, Kirstyn continued her rowing career and was part of the women's eight team that competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, securing a silver medal.

Former University of Washington Rower

Ethan is a New Zealand rower, coach, and collegiate athletics strategist from Auckland. He captained the University of Washington Men’s Rowing Team to a clean sweep at the 2024 IRA and won the Ladies’ Challenge Plate at the 2025 Henley Royal Regatta. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Washington and competes as a High Performance Sport New Zealand athlete. Through Crimson, he supports student-athletes in U.S. recruitment and collegiate performance development.
