Mason hails from Los Angeles, California and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, as well as a master’s degree in Higher Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. After completing his undergraduate degree, Mason became an Admissions Officer for the University of California where he read applications from students all over the world.
