NYU has recently announced its admission offers for the Class of 2027. The university received nearly 120,000 applications for first-year admission, which is 13% more than last year and marks another record-setting number of applications. Among the applicants, only 8% were offered admission to NYU's New York campus, which is the lowest acceptance rate in the university's history.

Additionally, 19% of the admitted students identify as the first in their families to attend college, and 20% are Pell Grant recipients. The students admitted to NYU come from all 50 states in the US, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 86 countries.
