When looking at university, many ambitious students turn their sights to the US - and one of the most popular destinations is California! This is not surprising as in the south of the San Francisco Bay Area lies Silicon Valley, the global centre for high technology and innovation. Home to many of the world's largest high-tech corporations, including the headquarters of more than 30 businesses in the Fortune 1000, and thousands of startup companies.
Because of this, California is home to some of the best universities in the world, including Stanford, UCLA, UC Berkeley and Caltech. If that doesn't entice you, the year-round sunshine will!
But the journey isn’t easy. Acceptance rates range from 4 to 12% and there are a couple of different application systems to navigate as most Californian universities use their own UC application system.
Crimson is here to help! For this webinar, we have invited Crimson Strategist & UCLA Alumna, Alisha to explain the options available to you in sunny California and everything you need to prepare to apply.
There will be a live Q&A at the end of this webinar, so bring your questions to the table!
