Isamar is a graduate of Harvard University, where she completed an A.B. in Psychology and an Ed.M. in International Education Policy. After college, Isamar was a Post-Graduate Fellow for Harvard's Brazil Office, where she developed an international college mentorship program and volunteered as a Harvard admissions interviewer. Afterwards, she joined the Stanford University Office of Undergraduate Admission as an Admission Counselor on the International Outreach team, and then as an Assistant Director of Admission on the Diversity Outreach and External Relations team. During her four years at Stanford, Isamar oversaw the outreach, review, and selection of over 7,000 applications from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Mexico, Central & South America, and Canada, and trained international alumni interviewers.
Joy graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Comparative Literature and minors in Creative Writing and East Asian Studies. During her time at Princeton, she was Class Historian, managed a bartending business, and was heavily involved with producing graphic designs for the University. Her first novel, The Problem With Helena, was published in 2018, hitting #3 in New Releases and Top 100 in the Asian American Literature category in its first week. As an educator, Joy has worked with Johns Hopkins, Princeton in Asia, and a high-end admissions consulting firm in Beijing.
UK student Josh always enjoyed building simple machines, and this passion developed as he got older and he achieved a series of impressive feats before deciding to apply to Stanford, such as becoming Young Engineer of the Year and launching his own 3D printer, Plybot. With Crimson's support Josh submitted a strong application to Stanford and successfully gained admission.
