ABOUT KNDEYA

Kndeya grew up in Ethiopia where he graduated from Saint Joseph High School as the salutatorian of his batch. He then went on to pursue his undergraduate studies at Cornell University on a full scholarship where he majored in Biological Science with a business minor and graduated with an exceptional senior honour from his college.

Professionally, he has worked in the US and Ethiopia with organisations ranging from small-scale startups to government-funded research facilities to international development partners. Some of the work he has done over the years include stakeholder mapping for an impact investing firm, institutional & context analysis of Sudan for the health investing arm of the UNDP, and devising and overseeing the business development strategies of a health-tech firm in Ethiopia.

Kndeya also brings extensive experience of running his own educational consultancy Ravion Consult over the last few years where he has successfully coached his international clientele to secure admissions to and/or unlock scholarships at prestigious undergraduate and graduate programs globally.

The work he has done both in this capacity and as an International Students Admissions Ambassador while in college has also earned him recognition from the Director of undergraduate admissions at Cornell University, Mr Shawn Felton.
