Meet Our European Strategists
Melissa
Melissa earned her Bachelor's degree in Literature from Franklin University, moved to the US to obtain her Master’s degree, and is now pursuing a PhD in Psychology. She specialises in supporting students applying to EU universities for STEM and medicine programmes.
Mario
Mario obtained his Bachelor of Arts in international relations (summa cum laude) from University College Maastricht in The Netherlands and has post-graduate degrees in European Studies. He has been in the education industry for the last 7 years and is multilingual, speaking Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Mandarin Chinese.
Abhijith
Abhijith is an alumnus of ESCP Europe, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and Manipal University — all top 3 programs in their countries — and has been awarded scholarships from the French and Singapore governments. He holds a Grande école Master's in Management degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Julie
Julie is a Crimson Strategy Consultant with a focus on European universities. She has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s degree in Finance from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where she has also worked after graduating.
Franziska
Franziska graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University before obtaining a Master’s degree in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University. She has received postgraduate offers from Oxford, Cambridge, and Edinburgh University and provides strategy for students applying to UK universities.
Lars
Lars graduated from Maastricht University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences and a Master’s degree in International Economic Studies. Lars has worked for technology firms like LinkedIn and Zalando and can work with students in Dutch, English, and German.
Gianna
Gianna graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics before earning her Master’s degree in Global and International Education from Drexel University. Gianna has worked in international student admissions and recruitment for almost 7 years and specializes in EU and US university admissions procedures.
Carlos
Carlos studied Tourism at University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, then went to Australia to earn his Business Diploma. He has held leadership roles at top international education companies both in operations and admissions consultancy, helping students from Europe and Latin America to study worldwide.
Spanish Speaking Programmes
Crimson now provides strategy and application support for students applying to English-speaking programmes across Europe and Spanish-speaking programmes across Spain, with strategists specializing in medicine, social sciences, economics and business, and engineering admissions.
