Dr. Howshin Tsao graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2018. He is currently practising medicine as a House Surgeon in Auckland's North Shore Hospital, New Zealand. He was recently awarded for his clinical practice at his hospital and is also involved in leading research to improve patient safety.
Dr. Dexter Sim studied medicine at King's College, London and is currently working at hospitals in the National Health Service, England. He is the lead tutor and consultant for ISAT, UCAT and BMAT admission tests in the United Kingdom. Dexter crafts his own curriculum and hundreds of questions to teach new strategies and simplify complex concepts saving you marks and time.
Patrick is a 3rd-year medical student at UNSW who is an expert in UCAT and undergraduate Australian medical school admissions. Patrick serves as a student representative at UNSW. He can demystify the admissions process and provide clarity to students, backed up by his track-record of admissions success and detailed knowledge of medical school requirements.
Alicia is a current MedView tutor. She achieved a 96 percentile on the UMAT OP2 - 98.10 ATAR / OPI 99.10 with bonus ranks in 2018 when she graduated from Brisbane Girls Grammar School. She is now studying a Bachelor of Science with provisional entry to the Doctor of Medicine at UQ. Alicia enjoys reading, taekwondo and spending time with her friends.
Karen is a current Curtin Medical School student, enrolled in its undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery program and enjoying it immensely. She is an experienced tutor and has attended multiple medical/dental school interviews from which she has derived her expertise on the selection process.
Lucy is a current Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery students at Otago Medical School. Lucy completed First Year Health Science with an A+ average GPA. She is a current tutor for MedView's First Year Health Science courses and workshops.
Chloe is a current second-year medical student at the University of Melbourne. Her interests include obstetrics, gynaecology and surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney, majoring in Anatomy and Histology. She was also the President of the Women in Science Society at the University of Sydney.
Callum graduated from the University of Auckland with a Masters in Biomedical Science in 2018. Graduating top of his class with 9 first in course awards, he knows what it takes to be successful at university. He has been working at MedView for over two years as an Education Coordinator and has helped advise over 200 students on their journey to medical school.
Daniel is currently a medical student at The University of Sydney Medical School. As well as placing in the top 10% in his MD cohort, Daniel scored in the 99.9th percentile on the Graduate Australian Medical Schools Admissions Test (GAMSAT). He also designs our core GAMSAT and MMI curricula, which so far have improved students’ success rates up to 4.5x versus the average applicant.
