How to choose the right test

Start by taking practice tests in both the ACT and SAT. Then use our converter twice, entering each score to see the two different conversions. In this way, you may be able to gauge if you have a natural talent for one test over the other. (Eg: your SAT to ACT conversion might give you a higher ACT score than your actual ACT practice test).

The next step would be speaking to a Crimson Academic Advisor who can double down on your findings and confirm which is the best test for you.
