Crimson Rise is the premier college preparatory program for students aged 11-14.
With our tailored, one-on-one approach, Crimson Rise supports younger students in optimizing their academics and extracurriculars to ensure they put their best foot forward when it’s time to apply to university. Our simultaneous focus on personal development ensures students are prepared for life in college, career, and beyond.
A Strategist works one on one with a student throughout their time with Crimson Rise, designing a roadmap to help the student take ownership of their high school years with their university and career goals in mind. In particular, a Strategist focuses on:
Assessment of the student’s strengths and challenges in school and support in developing effective study habits, personalizing academics through online and supplementary courses, and strategizing academic pathways for optimal growth.
Extensive interest exploration to help the student pinpoint natural abilities, investigate new activities, deepen current engagement, develop leadership skills, and map out potential college and career pursuits.
Development of foundational skills in goal-setting, time management, stress management, self-reflection, and decision-making that will prepare the student to handle the rigors of high school and college applications.
Crimson Rise also offers unique educational courses. Each is sold separately and delivered one-on-one by a specialized tutor, coordinated by your Crimson Team.
Foundation ECL Skills precedes Crimson Core’s Extracurricular and Leadership curriculum. Covering topics like research skills, critical thinking, professional communications, and project management, this course helps students build foundational skills necessary for Ivy League-level extracurricular work later on.
Through in-depth exercises and real-world examples, Crimson’s Entrepreneurship curriculum engages students with the building blocks of thinking like an entrepreneur, ideating a start-up company, financing and budgeting a business, and designing an entrepreneurial endeavor.
Crimson’s Social Entrepreneurship gives students a strong foundation in the history of social entrepreneurship as well as in the critical processes of designing businesses that do social good.
There’s no getting around it: coding is a skill for the future. Our Coding curriculum offers most students their first taste of real programming in some of today’s most powerful languages, including Java, Python, and HTML.
Our Speech and Debate course gives students practical skills in argumentation and analysis, introducing them to tools they need to not only to debate effectively but also to engage critically and confidently with the world around them.
Model United Nations is one of the most recognized and essential extracurriculars in the US university system. Our tutoring accompanies students’ involvement in their own MUN club, helping them maximize their potential as a delegate in order to lock down a prestigious addition to their extracurricular profile.
