My tutor motivated me to want to study medicine even more. He showed me that there's a site outside of just the academics of it, and there's really opportunities to do other things and go beyond just academics. I think one advantage that UK medicine now say, advantage or a different perspective it provides over local medicine, is the fact that you can intercalate and do an extra degree apart from medicine.
