Abbi graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Language and Literature. She is currently studying for a Master’s in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics, specializing in non-governmental organisations.
Alex attended New York University where he studied Psychology and Creative Writing. After graduating, he founded a volunteer organization that works to improve the lives of impoverished children in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Alina graduated from Yale where she studied Political Science. As a student at Yale, she conducted original field research on the experiences of migrants from the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine. Her thesis on the subject won the Charles Washburn Clark Prize for the best senior essay in Comparative Politics.
Alisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at UCLA. While at UCLA she attended the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
Amy studied international education at the University of Pennsylvania's graduate school of education and has experience helping students build competitive applications to universities in the US, Canada, the Netherlands and the UK.
With a Master’s in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Anthony has worked as a researcher at the OECD, the UNDP, and the New York Times.
Beatrix graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin (UT) with a major in Corporate Communications and a minor in Mandarin Chinese and is a Masters in Social Work candidate at New York University. At UT she project-managed the College of Communication Week, connecting faculty, staff, and professionals to 5000+ students.
Brenda graduated from University of Michigan with a double major in Psychology and Economics. During college, she did research on education psychology and also taught in local schools in Hong Kong during summer. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and went on to receive her Master’s in Management (Marketing) at Cornell University.
Brice graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor’s in Global Political Economics before joining the Myanmar Times as an editor. Now living in the U.S., he’s helped students gain admission to Stanford, UPenn, Yale, and more.
Bryan is from Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Economics and Psychology. Since joining Crimson, Bryan has helped students gain admission to top universities like Duke, Johns Hopkins, and Penn.
Bryn studied Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was actively involved in student government over the course of his education and served as an executive member of the LSE Student Union. During his gap year prior to LSE, Bryn studied European History at the Sorbonne in Paris.
Carolina graduated from Duke University with a double major in Psychology and French and a Minor in Education. Carolina was one of the founding members of the Duke Brazilian Association, which focused on promoting academic and social events at Duke, and to promote service initiatives in Brazil.
Cassidy completed her M.M. at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, she also earned a B.M. from the University of Michigan with concentrations in violin performance and historical musicology.
Crystal graduated from UCLA where she double majored in Financial Actuarial Mathematics and Economics. She achieved her Master’s in Accounting from the University of Melbourne, and has worked for years as an admissions consultant, helping students gain admission to the most prestigious programs around the world.
Dakota was admitted to UChicago through the QuestBridge program, sparking his interest in education access. He graduated with a double major in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Civilizations, spending much of his time in China.
Daniel is from Stratford-upon-Avon and graduated from Oxford with a first class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He has supported over 30 students who have secured offers from Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Imperial College London, and other elite Russell Group universities.
Dylan attended UC Berkeley, earning his degree in Film & Rhetoric and graduating summa cum laude. At UC Berkeley he pursued a variety of interests, such as film theory, creative writing, comparative literature, French, and entertainment business, as well as taught and guest lectured in a series of U.C. Berkeley’s DeCal courses.
Ed graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA Hons in Classics. At Oxford, Ed enjoyed pursuing an eclectic mixture of subjects from Alexander the Great, to Greek tragedy. After graduating, Ed worked as an academic tutor and Oxbridge mentor with multiple organisations.
Emily has a MPhil in Psychology and Education from the University of Cambridge, where she specialised in conducting a project on mental health and wellbeing of Oxbridge Students. She has also just completed an accredited British psychological society conversion course at the same time as her MPhil.
Evelyn graduated from Oxford with honoured Master and Bachelor degrees in Mathematics. Before joining Crimson, she previously worked for the British Council, Taiwan, for almost 10 years in Education Training and UK University Admission Strategy.
Franziska is a current master’s student at Oxford reading for an MSc in Comparative Social Policy. At Oxford, she has conducted several research projects on educational policies and their impact on the educational attainment gaps between students from diverse international backgrounds.
Frida pursued her undergraduate degree in international relations at Tufts University, where she was involved in the international community. After graduating, Frida obtained her master’s degree from LSE (the London School of Economics and Political Science).
George graduated from Harvard with a degree in Sociology and a secondary field in African American Studies. There he performed in and music directed various musicals, played clarinet and saxophone in college orchestras, and sang for the Harvard University Choir and the annually-touring Harvard Krokodiloes.
Gianna is a dual Italian-US citizen born and raised in Pennsylvania but has called Rome her home since 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Temple University and a Master of Science in global and international education from Drexel University.
Educated at Sherborne School, the University St Andrews (from where he was awarded an MA in Modern History) and Durham University for his PGCE, Graham spent 24 years of his teaching career at UK'S the internationally recognised Sevenoaks School. He managed the Careers and Higher Education Department at the head of which he was responsible for processing over 200 university applications every year.
Hannah graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences. After graduating, Hannah spent some time gaining more laboratory experience before returning to Cambridge to train as a science teacher. Later, Hannah became an Admissions Officer at Oxford. She has an in-depth knowledge of the Oxbridge application process, and has extensive experience of supporting students in successful Oxbridge applications.
Heitor graduated from Swarthmore College, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Educational Studies with a Minor in French. In addition to working as a Strategist for Crimson, Heitor is currently pursuing his PhD in International Comparative Education at Stanford University. His former students have gotten into UCLA, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, University of Chicago among others.
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Isabela graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with degrees in Philosophy and Global Health and Health Policy. After graduation, Isabela worked at a management and strategy consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., before moving to Seoul and joining Crimson.
Ella was born in Hong Kong, and raised in Bulgaria, Hong Kong and Istanbul, and attended international schools her whole life. She attended St. Cuthbert’s Society at Durham University where she did a BA in International Relations, and graduated with first class honours.
Jade earned a bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. She worked for Deloitte as a US CPA before acquiring her second master’s at the London School of Economics.
Jake attended Dartmouth College where he earned a B.A. in History. While earning his degree, he earned twelve varsity letters as a member of the cross country and track teams. He furthered his education at the University of Illinois where he earned a M.Ed. in Policy, Organization and Leadership.
Janela earned a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Haverford College, where she took full advantage of the liberal arts curriculum, enrolling in everything from psychology to linguistics to philosophy. After graduation Janela worked as an Admissions Officer at her alma mater assessing applications for admission.
Jennifer graduated from Cornell University with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in International Relations. She speaks English, Chinese, French, and is currently working on Spanish.
Jeremy graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with dual Bachelor’s in History and American Culture. He completed two undergraduate capstones covering both Spanish medieval religious history and 20th century American labor movements. He completed his Master’s in Educational Leadership & Policy at Michigan focusing on education technology.
Rio native Jhony is hugely passionate about international education and human development. After high school, he was awarded a full scholarship to attend Concordia College and later completed his MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Edinburgh.
Jonathan attended the UCLA and graduated with a major in Interdisciplinary French/Francophone Studies. His academic interests led him to learn a new language and explore central issues such as universalism/relativism, tradition/modernity, and religion/state in a post-colonial context.
Julius received a joint Bachelor’s degree in American History & Literature and Theater, Dance, & Media from Harvard University, for which his Harvard Art Museum one-man, multimedia performance senior thesis received a Summa Cum Laude designation. Upon graduation, the Harvard Council of the Arts recognized Julius as the University’s most promising actor
Kaitlin graduated from Smith College with a major in East Asian Languages and Cultures and earned her Master of Education in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. After Harvard,Katie worked as a Vice Principal at an innovative high school in Silicon Valley. She is proud to have counselled students who were accepted to UC Berkeley, Stanford and more.
Ken graduated from Cambridge with Master and Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (MEng and BA degrees). Since graduating, he worked at Unilever, as a Finance Manager, for 3 years in many areas of corporate finance, such as business strategy planning and regional financial planning and analysis.
Kate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Cell Biology from UC Berkeley. After spending a year in Taiwan to learn Chinese, she obtained her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. As applying to colleges can be a stressful time for students, Kate enjoys helping them to cultivate positive and confident mindsets.
Kelly graduated from Duke University with a double major in Public Policy and International Comparative Studies and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. Her thesis won top prizes and she went on to help found a Duke summer program where students can mentor North Korean refugees and multicultural students in Seoul.
Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University. During her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad at the University of Sydney, Australia and then obtained her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
Kyra has worked in admissions counselling for the past 5 years. Before joining Crimson, she graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class degree in Modern Languages. She subsequently pursued an MSc in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Born and raised in Jordan, Laila earned a BA in Psychology (neuroscience emphasis) from UC Berkeley and an MS in Global Health Sciences from UC San Francisco. As a global mental health specialist working with displaced populations across the Middle East and Europe, Laila founded and led Stanford University’s response to the global displacement crisis.
After receiving acceptances to 19 top universities, Laura attended Harvard where she received a BA in Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience. At Harvard, Laura held leadership roles in many student groups, including the Harvard Book Review. She also completed her pre-medical requirements while volunteering at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital.
Lily graduated from Oxford with a BA in Philosophy and Theology followed by an MPhil in Philosophical Theology. She then worked in education policy for Oxford. At Crimson, she works students on perfecting their Oxbridge interview, test preparation, UCAS personal statement and more.
Lucy completed her BA at Cambridge, where she read Human Social and Political Science (HSPS) and graduated with a 1st class degree. She then went on to do her MSc in Primate Behaviour and Conservation at Liverpool John Moores University and achieved a distinction and is currently finishing her DPhil at the University of Oxford in Anthropology.
Lyn received her Bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago. As an undergraduate, she sat on the executive board of the Prospective Students Advisory Committee. In 2020, she pursued her Masters in Business Administration from the Quantic School of Science and Technology, the world's only accredited, fully digital business school.
Mario is Crimson's EU University specialist having studied in The Netherlands, France and Italy. He obtained his BA in international relations from University College Maastricht in The Netherlands and has post-graduate degrees in European Studies. He has been in the education industry for the last 7 years and speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and some German and Mandarin Chinese.
When he was applying to universities, Martin was accepted to every Ivy League school and chose to attend Harvard where he completed his BA in Political Science and Government, with an emphasis in political philosophy. Following his graduation with honors in 2016, Martin worked as a History teacher at Success Academy Charter School in New York City and later completed his MSt in History at Oxford.
Mason attended UC Santa Barbara for his undergraduate experience where he double majored in Communication and Psychology with a minor in Music. After graduating, he stayed at UC Santa Barbara as an Admissions Officer, working with students from all over the world as a UCSB and UC-system representative.
Maya grew up in Singapore where she was part of the Gifted Education Programme which comprises the top 0.1% of each year’s cohort. She finished high school as the top GCSE “A” Level student of the country. Maya then attended Cornell University where she double majored in Economics and Political Science.
Megan earned her BA from Princeton and her MA in the History of Education from Columbia. She’s guided students to admission at Harvard, Stanford, Duke (including the prestigious Robertson Scholarship), Oxbridge, and more.
Mike attended the University of Chicago for his undergraduate degree, where he immersed himself in psychological research. He has worked with a wide range of students to gain admissions to Columbia, University of Chicago, Stanford, Johns Hopkins and more.
Mindy graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Barnard College, Columbia University. With her strong academic background, Mindy worked as a peer-tutor for the Dean of Studies Office and served as an undergraduate teaching assistant.
With a bachelor’s from UC Berkeley and a master’s in Social Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Natalie has helped students gain admission to schools including UPenn, Cornell, UChicago, and more.
Nicole studied History and Politics at Oxford after turning down an offer at the prestigious Duke University. Since working at Crimson, her students have won admission to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Oxbridge, and more.
Noah graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College, with a double major in History and International Studies. After college, he taught students in Hong Kong and Shanghai through Hong Kong University’s Crimson Summer Fellowship. In 2019, he returned to Shanghai’s YK Pao School on a Princeton in Asia Fellowship.
Pao graduated with first-class honours from the University of Cambridge (Christ’s College), where he studied Environment, Law, and Economics (‘Land Economy’). While at Cambridge, he was the president of the Real Estate Society. After graduating, Pao worked at JPMorgan Chase as an investment banking analyst before joining Crimson.
Paul graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, where he completed a double major in International Relations and Arabic. He has helped students secure acceptances to universities including the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins and more.
Paula graduated with honors from New York University, where she majored in Psychology with minors in Creative Writing and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies.As a sophomore at NYU, took French classes - eventually taking part in an eloquence contest at the French Embassy of New York.
Fern received her Master’s in Finance at MIT where she was a Bank of Thailand Scholar. For her Bachelor’s degree, she majored in Global Economics and Finance at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also did a semester exchange at the University of Washington during her sophomore year.
Rohan graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and concentrations in Management and Accounting. After graduation, Rohan was an investment banking analyst with JP Morgan in New York.
Rom holds an LLB from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge. She has also worked as a Foreign Affairs Specialist at the Senate of Thailand and a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate at Baker McKenzie law firm.
Romani was born and raised in London and studied History at Downing College, Cambridge. Romani chose Cambridge for its academic rigor and the opportunity to study History at one of the world’s top universities.
Sam graduated from Cambridge with a BA in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences and in 2018 and was awarded the Hewitt Exhibition for contributions to student life. Sam is currently reading MBChB Medicine at Cardiff University with the hopes of becoming a doctor.
With a bachelor’s in Creative Writing and French (Franklin & Marshall College) and a master’s in Fine Arts (Columbia University), Sana has worked as an admissions consultant for more than five years while also completing a certification in College Counseling from UCLA.
Sanusha graduated with a Bachelors (Honours) in Economics from the Cambridge in 2014. She obtained acceptances to 9 universities in the UK, US and SG and attended Summer School at Harvard in 2012. As an undergraduate, she was an elected representative on the Cambridge University Students Union.
LSE graduate Shihui was accepted to 13 universities including NYU Stern, Boston University, Michigan Ann-Arbor, LSE, and more. In admissions, she has helped students from over 10 countries gain offers to Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, King’s, and other top and Russell Group universities.
Sohum was born and raised in California, where he developed an appetite for reading. He attended Yale for a simultaneous Bachelor's and Master's in History, where he led the South Asian Millennials Conference and several other Asian American organizations.
Stephanie grew up in Singapore and Hong Kong and is based in London. She graduated from University College London with first class honours with a BASc in Arts & Sciences. She is currently completing her MSc in Environmental Technology with a specialisation in environmental policy at Imperial College London.
Steve attended the University of Chicago, where he received a BA in Biology specializing in Endocrinology and Genetics. While at UChicago, he acted as the Chair for the student board, interviewed senior applicants as a part of the admissions process and was on the committee that made official admissions decisions.
Tanya was born and raised in India before moving to various locations around the world for studies, including Houston, London, Boston and Tokyo. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree with honors in Psychology from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Marketing at LSE.
Uri obtained her BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley, MSc in Architecture and Architectural Engineering from Seoul National University and MA in Architectural History from UCL. In the field of architecture, she did an internship at architectural design studios in Japan and China. She has also worked for UNESCO World Heritage inscription projects in Korea.
Born and raised in Australia, Yen moved to the US for her university studies, where she graduated from Harvard with high honors in English Literature. She then went on to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, completing Masters’ degrees in World Literatures and Women’s Studies.
