Support from the best in the state
The HSC can be one of the most challenging periods in a student’s life but, with the right preparation, it’s not anything to be feared. The most important thing is to start early. Read this blog by our Crimson HSC expert where he includes his five tips to get ahead in your HSC preparation.
The structure of HSC exams is generally predictable – only content that is explicitly covered in the syllabus is examined. That’s why the best way to prepare for your HSC exams is to complete past papers, because questions are similar and often repeated!
The NSW Education Standards Authority has a huge collection of HSC past papers on its website. These date all the way back to 2001 and are organised per subject, so you have plenty of opportunities to practise!
It’s a good idea to look into tutoring during your HSC year, particularly if you need to gain a high ATAR for the course you want to study at uni.
At Crimson we have tutors who are experts in the HSC and the Australian university system. 80% of Crimson’s HSC tutors are state rankers in their subjects, and 90% are on the HSC all-rounders list.
They have the knowledge to help you get the most out of your HSC year and beat the BOSTES game! After all, it’s not just about being smart, but also strategic.
