My obsession with ties started when I first toured my school with my parents and our guide mentioned something motivating: there were over 35 society ties that could be earned. As soon as I became a pupil, I embarked on a journey to earn them. Society after society, I devoted myself to obtaining these jewels for my collection. Initially my ties were trophies of accomplishment, motivating me to strive forwards, hungry to achieve. In my eyes, having the most ties would separate me from the rest of my peers and help me establish my position as a top student in my new school.
